In flight Bibimbap Meal

This was a very abrupt trip suggested by my friend and here we go for a Ladies Trip.

Finally arrived in Korea and was welcome by this robot in Incheon Airport. Their airport is so advance.

We bought a coach ticket that transfer us to our hotel. The sales counter is located in the airport near the entrance. Per trip is ard SGD16, recommended good and comfortable. There is heated in the coach too!

This is a real bus-stop !

The moment we reached our stop, we saw cute icon welcome us.

My Fav ......Paris Baguette

Still too early for check-in, famished and immediately we went in Paris Baguette to have our breakfast. The Paris Baguette in Korea serve more varieties and delicious.

Myeongdong Street

A very interesting street but while shopping have to take note as certain street is still accessible by car so don't be too engross shopping.

During night the street will transform with whole row of street food. Weekend will have more stuff and it closes later.

Dawn say the fried chicken here is nice, too bad we do not have enough time to try. Will sure come again when I'm back next round.

This brand sell many types of tea and their chocolate is nice. Not cheap but recommended

Look for this Theater in Myeongdong

Walk straight in and u can find the shop/café. See the green signage on top?

They have café too.

Their Police Station look so friendly and cute

Haha so fast is time for lunch!
1 thing I like about Korean food is they serve a lot of side dishes that makes the meal look so appetizing.

Pacific Hotel

Beautiful and spacious room. Think is hard to get this size room in Korea. Each of us can happily have our luggage open on the floor without compromising to each other. I would recommend this hotel. Is not far from Myeongdong Street just across the road and train station just outside. If you taking day tour, the meeting point is just outside the hotel, super convenience.

Though wearing Hanbok was 1 of the thing you can do there but we do not have the intention.
It was when we saw a lot of ladies wearing Hanbok walking on street, the mood is so strong that we decided to join in the fun. We rented the Hanbok from the shop along the main street. There were a lot of shops rental and the cost is about SGD $15 for 2 hours. Pricing greatly depends on the design of the Hanbok. Simple styling and accessories are provided.

This is the temple, not accessible.

The Palace was huge and we took quite awhile to snap every corner of the Palace since we have
rented the Hanbok. It was really Fun!

It was not difficult to locate the restaurant. Just walk straight when came out from the exit.
Turn in when see this convenience store. The restaurant is just inside with the big signage.

They actually have 2 houses, when we were there to save time, they bought us to the house just round the corner.

Step by Step eating instructions. Their salt is very nice.

We order 2 different type of soup, 1 is with ginseng liquor.

I find the soup a bit bland but the rice inside the chicken is tasty.

They sell this home made ginseng wine at the yard, per bottle SGD$10.  The liquor content is high though it seem little bottle.  The ginseng smell is really strong.

Shopping at Ewha Market - Ewha University
(very near to Hondae)

Take a cab about $4-5
Train: Line 2 (Ewha Woman University Station),  Exit 2 or 3

It feel so good to study here.

  Zapangi Cafe망원동 자판기 카페

Train: Line 6 (Mangwon Station), Exit 2
Add: 79, World Cup-ro 13-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

The entrance to the café is actually hidden by a vending machine! If time permits can visit the café, the food basically taste good and is very instagramable.

Not easy to find the café, if by foot have to walk past a wet market. But in Korea taking cab is quite affordable (abt same as SG) so if too inconvenience places still better to take cab.

There are different colours of cab in Korea, just don't take the Black - more exp. For info of types of taxi click on the link below:

Noryangjin Fish Market

Train: Line 1 (Noryangjin), Exit 1 - walk 100m Over Bridge
Open: 3am to 9pm Except Sunday and PH

We had our dinner at this fish market. Is similar to the fish market in Tokyo where they sell live seafood and cook for you in the restaurant above the market. The market is very clean and organize. But I find is not really cheap unless eating in big group. We bought mostly sashimi only the prawn required cooking and turn out the service fee is about twenty plus. Perhaps we should have more cook food.

The market is accessible by train. For experience can come and try but to note certain seafood is only available during that season. Example Nov you will not be able to find sea urchin.

 Night of Myeongdong Street

SGD 10/pcs

SGD 10/pcs

Rose Ice-Cream

The day cannot complete without street food haha........In Korea is all about eating. Is not cheap to eat street food but is definitely a must to try!

Day 3 (Fri)

Today we have to wake up really early.....because we are heading to Nami Island. Lucky the pick up point is just in front of our hotel.

Nami Island

We bought package from Klook, it includes transportation, ferry ticket to Nami Island and Morning Calm Garden. If you are adventurous enough you can try Zip Line into the Island. It looks fun and is super long queue.

We had our lunch at one of the restaurant outside Nami Island. Had a hard find getting a restaurant as most are pack with tour group. This is nice and they cooked for us =)

Morning Calm Garden

Nice garden, come if you like landscaping. Whole garden tour takes around 2hours.

Dongdaemun - Wholesale Building open till 4AM
Train: Take Line 4 (Dongdaemun History&Culture Park), Exit 4

Look for this building, this is the best similar to BKK Platinum Mall .....Many levels and each level categorize as men, ladies, kids. They open till 4am!

Too tired, drop by a café on another building at level 2 to recharge.
Shake Shack is at Dondaemun too!

Day 4 (Sat)

LotteMart

Train Station: Seoul Station

We didn't get to shop this mall as the moment we reach we quickly dash into the supermarket and were so crazy buying. In the end this is out loot that we can shop further and have to quickly unload at hotel.

The packet Ginseng Chicken and Kimchi is a must to buy......so nice. I didn't know there were so many types of Kimchi - Squid, Octopus n my fav fish roe too.

The auntie will ask you to chose the size of the container and pack the type of Kimchi you want into it and seal it. 1 small container (like CNY goodie red container) cost around SGD 30 for Squid. They charge by weight. Oh do remember Kimchi must check in luggage, no hand carry on plane so make sure you have enough baggage.

Korean BBQ

Come Korea definitely must try their BBQ. This shop is just outside my hotel and best is 24hrs. Though the shop look normal, wow the food is fantastic!

They will cook for you, so sweet.

Day 5 (Sun)

Passion 5
Address: 272 Itaewon-ro, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Train: Hangangjin Station, Exit 3

I spotted this over the night when I came across my friend whom also happened to be in Korea posted on her FB. So last min shopping before I fly back to SG in noon, I came early 9am to be here!

I'm glad I'm here as I was still hesitating to come last night. If you love dessert, you won't regret though surrounding there is nothing so you come purposely for this.

The moment I enter I was greeted by the sweet Ice-cream at door.

Wonder who will eat such BIG bread.

Though is early in the morning, I still must try the Ice-cream......1 word GOOD.

Haha good things must share, I flew it back for my Darling Gal.

I have never like a country so much other than BKK. Never regret coming and happy that everyone clicks though both my friends don't know each other but they seem they know each other and we had a great fun which I never expected it. Cheers to ladies Trip, I will sure be back.
