Florence: Santa Maria Novella to
Rome: Roma Termini Station
Take train at 7.05am, Arrive Rome 8.35am - Trenitalia Frecciarossa
Today we took the train to Rome to see another world wonder.
Finally we arrived ROME
Piazza Nanova
Walk from Roma Termini takes ard 25mins
Fountain and Spainsh Steps 5mins walk. It was raining so we didn't took much photos.

Heading to Colosseum
We took metro only 15mins, save time, 1 price travel all station
Took metro Station Termini to Barberini
10.30AM - Colosseum (7 wonders)+ Arena +Roman Forum+Palatine Hill
Take metro from Station Spagne to Colosseo (red switch to blue at Termini station) - 15mins
We went in from the back - Palatine hill, the place is really huge actually our tour just walk past a fast 1, probably next time if staying at Rome can explore a full day here.
The security was quite strict, tourist must bring their passport in order to enter. We have a tourmate forgotten to bring along and lucky he managed to get a screenshot from the family. Also no bottle to be brought in.


The tour ended 1pm (2.5Hrs) Too Tired, took Uber cheaper than cab. Save time too.
Pantheon
Went for lunch at a nearby restaurant near Pantheon, not bad request to sit outdoor with view of Pantheon
Come here must try the famous Tiramisu. Two Size was closed hence, we went for Pompi Tiramisu
Took metro from Spagne to Termini, catching the train back to Florence. Take train at 4.55pm, Arrive Florence: 6.31pm - Italo
Summary
The metro is quite friendly and can use credit card to tap it. Some people told me is too rush to venture to Rome but I managed to do it though not the full Rome, manage to see what the few famous within a day and step foot on it...feels great!
Oh our tour guide is a Japanese lady and she shared Rome water cooler along the street is the purest :) Try it next time!
