Heading to Airport. Have been planning the itinerary since Jan 23 finally we are on the expedition! Is fun travelling with Friends - Couple Trip

London - Heathrow Airport
The custom was good as we were able to use the self-service machine which was efficient and fast.
Took Uber from Airport to Hotel, 45 mins drive cost Euro 60.45
Need to take the lift to the level for public cab, Uber pick up is at the multi-storey carpark.

DoubleTree By Hilton (Hyde Park)
Nearest Tube: Queensway Station- 250m (red line) or Bayswater - 300m (green line)
We are staying at ground level super noisy especially due to the low water pressure from shower or flushing. Location is good but room too small ard 150 sq ft.

Took train (ard Euro 2) to the venue, glad that we manage to catch the march as we rushed over immediately after checking in hotel. The train system was very convenient, they accept credit card/google & apple pay.

Buckingham Palace
Changing Guards - 11am every Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun
Tube: Baywater Station (Yellow line) to St James Park (Yellow line) CircleCircle Line via Victoria 7 Stops - 26mins, Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, St.James Park

We walked to Big Ben from Buckingham Palace (ard 15mins)....follow the crowd.

Many People Q to take pic of this telephone booth
but along the way there are many of it.

Westminster Abbey (next to Big Ben)

Big Ben
Short walk from the palace

Discovery Museum

Christmas market in front Discovery Museum - should have visit the Discovery Museum thats where Jumanji was filmed.

Trafalgar Square

Camden Town
Tube:  Camden Town Station

Not must things, building fancy but rowdy

King Cross Harry Potter Platform 9 ¾
(located in the station - Kings Cross St Pancras Station)

Christmas is in the Air .......walking from Oxford St, Bond St

Dinner at Angus Beef Restaurant -  Bond St

They have quite a few outlets. Thinking why dinner time yet the restaurant is not full.....cos is just 6pm but it seem like 8pm 😅 Wither season Sky turns dark ard 4pm,

Day 2 - 18 Nov, Sat

Borough Market -
A must to go, food is good esp the mushroom risotto and donut along the road. Fish & Chip is good too.

Walking to London Bridge....all the building look like palace

Tower of London
        Tower Bridge(behind...the Blue colour)

There is a Ted Baker boutique at the station near Tower of London. So excited to see it while going restroom. Almost forgot is in my shopping list. Just to note in London, the departmental store range is not as much compare to boutique.

London cab is everywhere, no wonder call London cab =)

Come London of course must take London Cab ......it was spacious.

British Museum
Free entry but must make online reservation to save time queuing

LendenHall Market
Come here to 打卡, vintage building. When we reach most shops were close.

Spitalfields Market
A huge market but mostly selling winter clothing. Is near Duck & Waffles so drop by to see see look look

Dinner @ Duck&Waffles

Once enter you are greeted by a bar.
1 level below the restaurant was another roof top bar, looks good too!

We were early but they were nice to let us in and sit at the bar while they prepare the table.

Can see the Tower Bridge from the restaurant!!!!
Too bad got refection cant take with the beautiful view.

Order a few signature dishes to share

Day 3 - 19 Nov, Sun

7.30am: Full Day Tour

Windor Castle

Doggie everywhere.....

The House was slanted but photo cant tell it.

Our guide was good, took us queue from behind the castle, less crowded. It was chilling waiting in queue to get into the castle, we were early. Lucky KK bought us hot tea! The guide shared that the Royal family still visit the castke and when if they are around, the flag will be raised to inform the people. Too bad, they are not here that day.

Finally we are heading the castle but no photo taking when inside the castle.

The Castle was Magnificent!

Stonehenge

walk a super long distance to reach really in front of it though there is a shuttle bus that drive us near to it. Super windy....hard to take picture with messy hair and lots of people crowding it.

Took a live call to show little girl and she asked why come all the way see the stones haha.

Wonders of the World - The Bath

This is the 1st wonder I finally visited in my life! Some say Stonehenge is also 1 of the wonder.

The guide say we can drink the bath water.....there is a water cooler that draws water from it. Myth say the water cures all illness and will be healthier.

This is like the dam. There were many Bath rooms, the first bathing place that the Romes built and was a big thing when they get to enter to bath! Probably seem like Onsen.

Time to go back as sky turns dark early in Winter. Manage to visit Ted Baker outlet at the market place outside The Bath.

Dinner @ Fortune Cookie

Nice Dinner, pricing reasonable. I wont say is the most fantastic meal but in western country is really good. Cantonese owner.

Summary

Overall London is a nice place with friendly people.....so far we met along the way. We didnt really walk much, most of the time we took Uber since there were 4 of us. Attraction places have to make reservation otherwise is a long waiting Q.
